Skellenger Vineyard, Oakville ~ Napa Valley
The 2021 Kazumi Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced exclusively from the Skellenger Vineyard in the Oakville appellation. On the nose this wine showcases floral notes of violet, blackberry, currant, and subtle hints of vanilla and baking spices. The wine floods the palate with plush fruits of blackberry, cassis and bramble followed by layers of cocoa, black pepper, and savory, umami. This Cabernet Sauvignon has a solid backbone of structure and acidity with smooth tannins. These layers create a seamless complexity for a long and satisfying finish.
